irish
HOU - S Jason Simmons Has Unique Price For His Jersey Number To RB Green Texans safety Jason Simmons said he'd gladly surrender the number if Ahman Green made the down payment on a home for a single parent. "He said what he wanted to do and I said: 'Yeah I'm all on board. That's easy,"' Green said. "Tell me where to write the check to. So instead of putting the money into his pocket, he's going to put in into somebody else's home, house and help them get their life started." Very cool move from Jason Simmons here. He seems to have things in perspective. Said Simmons "It's just been on my mind to go out and help a family in need. I just understand that it's not all about money. In my life, I never want to get caught up in just money because it can ruin you." Hats off to Simmons.

Ziachild007
Thats one thing I like about the Texans. They might suck for eternity, but they don't bring in many knuckleheads. Class move by Simmons.

I wouldn't go so far as to annonint the whole organization as the second coming, but from an individual's perspective, this was a warm, classy, human move. Well done!
