Timmypg
Overall I thought the show was ok. I thought Bill was going to die. I did think the last 10 minutes at Heller's house was very powerful.

Czarina
Meh. They wrapped things up a bit, which is fine, but it didn't have me on the edge of my seat by any means.
Kid Cid
I liked the kid shooting Granpa. I was just hoping that Jack would cut out an eye or something as a souvenir.
Fatman
I did think the last scene at Heller's house was good...the most emotionally resonant moment of the whole season. Chloe being pregnant is fuc king retarded, however
wildcat2334
Terrible. Completely lame 2 hour finale to a brutal season of 24. Next. A component that can start WWIII hinges on an exhchange of some kid to his grandfather? Doyle/CTU doesn't think, just maybe there may be some kind of trick to look out for on the exchange? Chloe is pregnant....... Bill Buchanan piloting the chopper because "he cant let this one go either"
Fatman
The poorest thing about this season, IMO, is Jack's decision to offer up the component for Audrey, even if he had a plan to destroy it (and himself) when she was safe. I can't see the old Jack Bauer risking the start of WWIII for anyone, even if she did go to China looking for him. Seattle LawDawg
What a disappointment. I've noticed that as dedicated as Jack is to do something, it doesn't take much convincing to change his mind.
Kansas State 2000
I love 24 but this season sucked ass ... I hope the Jack of old returns for next season. It appears he will as he left the vigina Jack at Adruys bedside. Edited May 23, 2007 by Kansas State 2000

tonorator
way too much going on this season for the final scene with heller to have much impact. also, the anger that jack had for heller going in was a bit misplaced. would have been much better if heller had actually been more a part of this season or if a backstory was developed where heller did not try to free jack to intentionally keep him away from his daughter. a lot of potential here, but none of it was developed so the ending did not pack much of a punch. i was waiting to find out that josh was really jack's son and then maybe he would hook up with bedroom eyes. hard to do that with audrey still hanging around i guess. also thought audrey might at least open her eyes and drool a bit to convince jack that she really was better off without him. it looked like jack's dad was preparing a boat for him and josh to sail out to the sub. after he's shot and jack leaves, what are the odds that he rolls off the platform into the boat and somehow survived? they had a quick shot of his face before the explosion, but it didn't show his location ... we also never confirmed that the russian with his arm hacked off actually died on the beach. so if daddy survived, chang still alive, the russian maybe alive, they could have the option to keep this story line going for next season. strange no mention at all of the ex-president's death and no shots of palmer recovering. with a nuclear bomb exploding in LA, an assassination attempt, the murder of an ex-president, the recovery of the president and a fitness hearing, the near detonation of another nuclear bomb, pending world war 3, the coup on CTU, etc., there was just no room for any story or character development. what time was present was woefully wasted on the mini-dramas in CTU with nadia/miles and chloe/morris. all that should have been scrapped to put some time into the character that we actually care about. that is all. CaP'N GRuNGe
If you want to enjoy these type of shows I thinks its important to be willing to suspend some disbelief at impossiblilities otherwise you just instead of . But with that said, Jack dropping into the ocean and swimming ashore to the beach, and then like only 5 minutes later making his way to Heller's house? I guess it was just a coincidence and Heller happened to have his house like right on that specific piece of ocean front property.

I guess it was just a coincidence and Heller happened to have his house like right on that specific piece of ocean front property. when he dropped, i honestly had no idea where he was going. there was the scene earlier in the show where heller called jack a curse, but that was more just a guy pissed at seeing his daughter as a vegetable vs. something that should have caused jack to break into his house and hold a gun on him. would have been much cooler to have heller setup as a bad guy and to give jack some real reason for revenge/anger so we could have looked forward to the ending. jaxfactor
Chloe being pregnant is fuc king retarded, however +1 When Chloe passed out, I was briefly ecstatic thinking "they finally did it! They killed off Chloe! Thank God!" I turned a buddy of mine on to this show and he stopped watching it after week 3. I keep telling him to watch the previous seasons but he said Nah. I imagine this season will be a turnoff for first-time 24 viewers. I'm hoping they get back to the real Jack.
