Chief Dick 478 Posted May 31, 2007 Gawd I don't know how much more I can take. Buddy Bell is the WORST manager I have ever seen, and I've seen the worst of the worst. Dayton Moore, you are doing well. You are making moves to strengthen the organization top to bottom. 3 years from now we should be a decent ballclub again. Puddy 30 Posted June 2, 2007 Nice work That was the hayday in baseball for me. I was a punk teenager who loved the game. For some reason I was enamored with the Royals and Brewers of the early 80's. Frank White, U.L., Willie Wilson, Brett, Jim Eisenreich (who had epilepsy I believe), Quisenberry. Willie Wilson was one fast mofo and I remember he and Ron Guidry were going to have a footrace (as I guess Guidry was a hell of an athlete) but alas it wasn't to be. Someone wouldn't allow it (I can't remember who). Oh and the Brew Crew were exciting as hell to watch. Molitor, Yount, Cooper, Pete Vukovich (spelling?). Harvey's wallbangers were my second favorite team after the Tigers. I was so bummed when they lost the WS to the Cardinals in '82. Those same f'n Cardinals beat my Tigers last year.
