wildcat2334
good band out of Portland, they are in my rotation. Got popular after a couple of their tunes made the Garden State soundtrack.

Egret
I've got a couple of their albums. Good stuff. Nice harmonies. Very mellow and relaxing. I don't have their latest one yet. The only problem is that it all starts to sound the same after awhile.

Jackass
oh! inverted world (first album) is better than chutes too narrow IMO - haven't checked out their new one. Edited June 17, 2007 by Jackass
BYoder
oh! inverted world (first album) is better than chutes too narrow IMO - haven't checked out their new one. I agree. I have oh! inverted world and still listen to it regularly. I haven't checked out their new album either, but I will at some point because I really enjoy their music. Dr. Sacrebleu
They are part of that tinny yet pleasant group of bands with some really good hooks that after a while do become indistinguishable ( oh god, did I just become my parents when I said that all this music sounds the same? ) You would probably also like The New Pornographers (Canadian shins, a little gheyer), Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (slightly edgier Shins)
