spain
Sweetness is by far the #1 rb in history. It is difficult to judge LT2 right now since his career isnt over yet. The others are all well behind Payton.
isleseeya
Chuck norris jeans are cool ..they won't bind your legs ...sweetness was my favorite rb of all time ...jim brown and sanders right there as well

broncosn05
Wasn't really around to watch the careers of most, but I'd say Barry just looking at his stats and highlights with that team. Emmitt Smith should probably get mention too...
H8tank
I've met emmit, and he is no Fred Lane.
skylive5
I have been here for all those players and the two no loads mentioned at the bottom of the poll. If you all had a chance to watch the NFL Network the other day they had a repeat of a 2003 show called: Player of the Millennium It was about the most dominant player of his time. A player who had no peers. Any of you (other than DMD who has already shown who was the best) care to guess just who that was?
Big John
H8 using Puddy as an option? /used that fot Dan Pastorini.

Probably Sanders or Brown, but Walter was the classiest act in the NFL, regardless of decade. He re-wrote and set the standard of class. So who was it Sky? skylive5
Probably Sanders or Brown, but Walter was the classiest act in the NFL, regardless of decade. He re-wrote and set the standard of class. So who was it Sky? There is no doubt that Walter oozed class. There is no debate about that. I am talking about the RB that all other RB's are compared to. A player that went to the Pro Bowl every year he was in the league. A player that lead the NFL in rushing 8 of the 9 years he played. The player that won the league MVP his 2nd year in the league and again in his last year in the league. The guy that ended with a 5.2 YPC for his career. Jim Brown..... of course. Kid Cid
Since this obviously not H8, I feel my answer should reflect nothing. OK Where does this go I wonder? Or this? I'm pretty sure this isn't what I typed But when you come right down to it, isn't this what life is all about ? WUD
