SheikYerbuti
Yankees are bouncing back nicely from that 14-4 loss they are torturing TB now. We went to the night game last night at the stadium. . .17-5. Although I prefer a close game, it's always fun to see a run-fest. Lots of action. SheikYerbuti
Still 7.5 behind Boston but now 5.5 out of the wild card.... I wanted to get a bet down on yesterday's game. Clemens vs. Odalis Perez (!) at -125 on the run line. . . .missed it by about 30 seconds.

How exactly do baseball lines work? Bet 100 on KC to win 125 and 125 on NY to win 100? My whole life, I have never asked this question.... LegFuJohnson
Pretty much. If the Yankees are favored -125, then it's bet 125 to win 100. If you bet the other side, it'll be bet 100 to win 115 (or something less than 125, that's why the bookies win)

Ursa Majoris
October here we come!!!! Yes sir...if we keep on playing like this! LOL at you Yankee "fans" getting in a circle jerk over wiping the floor with poor old Tampa Bay a couple times.
irish
LOL at you Yankee "fans" getting in a circle jerk over wiping the floor with poor old Tampa Bay a couple times. We didn't wipe the floor with them we did something that hadn't been done since the 1930's. The Yanks are awesome and they're coming for the Redsox with 6 games left between them. If we don't catch them we'll see them in the playoffs as the WC and knock them out then.

Sorry that we're not from "Ohh, woe is me, I'm from small-market Minnesota." Please...if you're so damn small market, how the he11 did you pull off building the world's largest shopping mall? And maybe if your owner weren't so darn cheap, he'd take all the revenue sharing money that teams like MY Yankees pay out to him and put it into his team and not into his pocket...like he's supposed to. Don't hate us and don't hate the system...hate your cheap-ass owner. How can you even question a fan's loyalty because you're bitter with your own woes? isleseeya
Ursa was actually 100 percent correct ...yanks should thank schedule maker to open up with toronto ( not having to face haladay ) and then 4 more home games vs d rays ...next is the royals ..enjoy it while it lasts ..yanks will not see post season and it will be back to reality soon ...
