Kudos to Rabobank for showing some integrity, as THEY were the ones who asked him to leave. I'd dump on Astana abandoning Kloden, but I'm not sure if they were just taking their ball and going home because their boy Vino got the boot, or if they basically said "if the captain is dirty, we're sure some others are as well." The former is crappy, the latter is if not commendable, at least understandable. i think it may have been something even more commendable, just the idea that we failed to catch this, and sort of a gentlemen's agreement between teams to do it in the event a high-profile cheater is found out. obviously the risk of getting caught and facing personal disgrace is not enough to keep these guys from cheating. maybe having to look friends and teammates in the eye after you cost them the biggest race of their lives will have more effect.
