spain 0 Posted July 10, 2007 (edited) Pacman was pulled over by a cop and received a few citations today in Franklin, TN while driving his orange Lamborghini. Tag Swapping. The tags on the Lambo were registered on another car. No residency License. He never bothered to get a Tennessee drivers license. Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance. I dont know if he has insurance or not. Speeding> Driving 79 in a 55 mph zone. I dont know what this will do to his status. max 0 Posted July 11, 2007 Time after time Jones keeps getting himself in trouble. It really amazes me that someone could actually be this dumb. He needs to get banned from the NFL. He has given no indication that he is going to clean up his act at all. On a side note, if Jones keeps getting in troube we are going to need a Pacman forum on the boards. Ruffian 0 Posted July 11, 2007 (edited) All NFL players planning on participating in the 2007 football season and beyond, please take one step forward--not so fast, Mr. Jones. Sinner. I would say that the fuzz is picking on him but since he has been arrested in every state except Alaska and Hawaii (do they have casinos?) I'm going to have to say that he might just be that guy who can't stay out of those small, barred-up condos. Does he like dogfighting, by any chance? Goopster24 13 Posted July 11, 2007 No residency License. He never bothered to get a Tennessee drivers license. Can someone explain this? I can't live in another state and drive with an Illinois driver's license?

Ursa Majoris 102 Posted July 11, 2007 Can someone explain this? I can't live in another state and drive with an Illinois driver's license? I think it depends on the state how long you can live there before getting an in-state license.

Bill Swerski 0 Posted July 12, 2007 Soime states make you get a license in their sate when you live there. So, some states actually FORCE you to get a driver's license in that state, even if you don't drive? That's interesting. I've lived in five different states and had never heard of that. People can have dual residency, but Florida is pretty bad at getting as much money($$$) and control($$$) over you as they can.

I've lived in five different states and had never heard of that. No only if you drive and meet their residency requirements. People can have dual residency, but Florida is pretty bad at getting as much money($$$) and control($$$) over you as they can. My understanding was that when the plates from your former state expired, you had to re-register your car in your new state and that includes getting the new state's driver's license, getting their plates, and possibly taking their driver's test (depending on the state). Unless, of course, you still maintain a residence in your former state, in which case you can usually get new plate stickers from that state in the mail. Eh, so anyway, it looks like Pacman may be out of the league now. Good riddance.
