The music has more than stood up over the past fifteen or so years. I'm gonna say, yup, they're the greatest American rock band. Who else could it be? Rolling Stones are British. Somebody must've kicked me in the nuts as a kid when the Doors were on. I can't stand 'em. Stones on the other hand . Including British bands makes it a tough call. Well, well, well. Look at the reading comprehension skills on wiegie. Show off. Elvis and the Beach Boys are two that definitely deserve mention. But the Ramones and Velvet Underground?
