Bengal Mania
Actually, in all seriousness, the greatest genius of all time is the inventor of sliced bread. It's the standard by which all good things are measured, and yet no good thing is better. Edited July 20, 2007 by Bengal Mania

Perchoutofwater
Actually, in all seriousness, the greatest genius of all time is the inventor of sliced bread. It's the standard by which all good things are measured, and yet no good thing is better. My mother's uncle invented an automated machine that slices bread for large commercial bakeries along with quite a few other bread baking innovations. His name is Reagan Garrett. He retired at the age ov 40 and hasn't had to work a day since. Edited July 20, 2007 by Perchoutofwater
skylive5
Believe there is a difference between being a genius and being an imaginative inventor...so from my prospective The American Genius is John Forbes Nash. Edison lived off other peoples work. Wylie Coyotie couldn't even figure out the roadrunner.

That's a pretty good list. If forced to pick just one, it would have to be Jefferson.

wiegie
When someone is really, really smart (nerdy), do you call then an Einstein or a Neumann? I suppose it depends upon how smart the person who is doing the name-calling is. :oldrazz:

Not only in honor of your multiple field theory, but because his stature and socialist leanings remind me of you.
