NAUgrad
I'll take Revis. I'll take Russell!! The one that bothers me the most is Brady Quinn. Why isn't this guy in camp? If anyone should working their tail off to prove everyone wrong, it's him. Sitting out like this is just stupid.

Maybe he knows deep down that he is just a giant bust waiting to happen, and thinks that this is his only chance to get paid.
Savage Beatings
I'll take Revis. This one surprises me the most actually. I can understand QB's pressing to get a little bit more given the nature of their position, but Revis? Why isn't he signed? What kind of issue could be holding this one up at this point? I thought I heard both sides quit talking last week. Edited August 6, 2007 by Outshined
The Wolf
This one surprises me the most actually. I can understand QB's pressing to get a little bit more given the nature of their position, but Revis? Why isn't he signed? What kind of issue could be holding this one up at this point? Issue here is that the Jets want him to sign a 6-year deal, making it more cap-friendly. Those picked before and after Revis took 5 year deals, so his agent wants the same...unless the Jets offer more money. In 5 years, the Jets have to deal with the expiring contracts of Pennington and Ferguson, so I guess they do not want all three contracts expiring at the same time. Some believe that Revis' agent is playing a game with the Jets as he also represents Pete Kendall, who has been, well, vocal to say the least, about getting a new contract. Not sure I buy it but it is a theory that some of the talking heads are floating around. Either way, both sides are dug in..,Management does not want to cave and set a precedent and the player and agent want what others have gotten. Don't know that they quit talking as suggested in another post, but they don't seem to be budging on either side.
