Trade advice needed

Recommended Posts

Here's the scenario. A couple weeks ago we held our local 12 team draft. I decided to snatch up the vast majority of RBs after the first few rounds. I now have the following roster after a few free agent pickups.

1. Joseph Addai - RB IND.

2. Chad Johnson - WR CIN.

3. Brandon Jacobs - RB NYG.

4. Randy Moss - WR NE.

5. Jamal Lewis - RB CLE.

6. Tatum Bell - RB DET.

7. Mark Clayton - WR BAL.

8. DeShaun Foster - RB CAR.

9. Devery Henderson - WR NO.

10. Ben Roethlisberger - QB PIT.

11. Brandon Jackson - RB GB.

12. Chris Brown - RB TEN.

13. Jeff Garcia - QB TB.

14. Jeff Wilkins - K STL.

15. Owen Daniels - TE HOU.

16. Jesse Chatman - RB MIA.

As you can see half my roster is RB. I plan to eventually trade a couple RB but I'm not sure how I feel about this proposed offer. I give Jamal Lewis and receive Chris Chambers. I just don't know how comfortable I would be playing Chambers. Let me know your opinion.

We start 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 W/T, 1 W/R, 1 K, 1 DEF

1 point per 30 yards passing

6 points per 1 passing TD

1 point per 15 yards rushing

6 points per 1 rushing TD

1 point per 10 yards receiving

6 points per receiving TD

NOTE: Almost every team in this league has only 3 RB. Since we can start up to 3 RB per week I felt it neccassary to acquire as many RB as I could. As a result there are no quality RB on waivers.

Your WR's are fine. I don't think Chambers would warrant many starts until he and Green establish some sort of chemistry anyway. I live in Cleveland, and everyone is saying that Jamal Lewis has been the most impressive guy on the team thus far. Stick with Lewis, at least until his value rises to where it should be.
