Colston for Evans?

Recommended Posts

Our draft is over and the salary cap dollars will only impact next years draft. I am trading Colston who will be a $10 keeper for Evans who will be a $20 keeper. $200 cap. I am thinking of making the trade because of Colstons Knee issues and I think DH will yake catches from Colston. Evans is the one trick pony with an improving QB and I feel he may have a break out year...also feel he is more of a sure thing. I also have Bush on my team so having the WR/RB combo is somthing I do not like, but is OK.

I am on the fence here.....Thoughts?

I think calling Colston a sleeper at this point might be a stretch...

I like Evans much better. I'd take the deal.

No way is Colston a "sleeper." I know you are worried about the "sophmore slump." That happens to some second year WRs but Colston is different. For one he has a top 5 QB who loves to target him unlike Michael Clayton. He also has the great combo of size and speed. He has a much better schedule and decent WRs in Henderson, Copper, Bush to draw coverage. Sean Payton is the coach /OC. I would pass on the trade. I think the Bills O will sputter while Lee turns in another solid year but Colston's will be even better in my opinion.
