11th Pick, PPR Redraft

Just drew the 11th pick in my annual PPR redraft. So far the RBs I've seen sitting around the 11th pick are Rudi Johnson and Maroney.

Maroney's upside is intriguing here but things that worry me are his tendency to get injured and consistency issues. I like consistency from my first pick and Rudi is the poster child. I've also read several things saying that Rudi has been working on his hands this year. Has he reached his ceiling?

Who do you like out Maroney or Rudi? I am leaning Maroney for the upside.

Now for the wrap around -- I should be siitting there with the choice of Chad Johnson or Steve Smith. I am not feeling great about Steve this year and I'm almost sure Chad will be gone. OR if MJD is available at 2.2, do you take him over any WR? MJD would get points for any passes Garrard might be throwing to him in the flats.

The WRs will most likely fly off the board before they get back to me.

Which duo would you want at 1.11 and 2.2 in a PPR redraft?

Rudi/Maroney

Rudi/Steve Smith

Maroney/Steve Smith

Maroney/MJD

Thanks for the input,

I like Rudi/Maroney myself.

With all the backups but Watson hurt in Cincy we should see another year of him getting 20 + carries a game.

I gotta go Rudi/Smith. I don't think Maroney can handle the load, which is why the pAts stacked their receiving corps. If you wait til the 3rd to get WR, you're gonna be playing catch-up.
