Fanantic
Although Gore has yet to reach 100 yards this year, is it possible he will break out soon or would it be wise to trade him for Brown. Fanantic
I was hoping to get a little imput on this. Anybody?
sobrien
Ronnie Brown all the way. His first two weeks were only because the coach insisted on giving the ball to chatman. Now he is not in the picture and the Fins have nothing else but brown. Gore is looking tired and the lack of any QB is hurting him big time. Monk81
wow...that is a tough one... Miami's passing game is going to take a major hit - even if they play the Rookie....8th man in the box and you see Ronnie's production drop ....SF is in a mess too ....SF passing O is not playing well so Frank has had no room - My gut says A. Smith is throwing up to 25 yards - plus a bye next week....may be back soon - Miami is in a mess the rest of the season - Stick with Frank and see what happens. With Green out Brown might not have a lot of room to run.
sobrien
8 in the box doesn't matter as much agsint Ronnie because he also get the most look for passes on the team. He can still catch a lot of screens and shorts passes if the running game isn't there.

sobrien
Well he might be able to but he isn't doing it this year. He has only 100 rec yard with 0 TD. Ronnie has almost 300 with a TD.
Salty Dogs
I have R. BROWN in one of my leagues and he has carried me through the last three weeks. GORE has been a HUGE disappointment this year so far and I think it may only get worse. Other than that one run for 49 yards two weeks ago, he has been silent! Stick with BROWN, because I think that even though they will stack the box against him, with a ROOKIE QB, BROWN will always be the outlet in the flat Good Luck! All the Ronnie Brown fans, have you looked at his upcoming schedule? 6 at Browns 7 vs Patriots 8 vs Giants 9 Bye 10 vs Bills 11 at Eagles 12 at Steelers 13 vs Jets 14 at Bills 15 vs Ravens 16 at Patriots Figure in the loss of Green and 8 men in the box means a little more when figuring in these Defenses. webbnathan
Wait a minute, you don't think the D's weren't rushing Green when he went back to pass??? Ha-ha, this change of QB is going to bring the running QB back into play. Look what it's doing in Tenn. with Young. This change I think is actually going to do about the same for Brown. This may open the field up even more for him. Keep Brown!

1stand10
I own Gore. There is no way a brown owner even looks at that trade.
Fanantic
There is no way a brown owner even looks at that trade. He already was interested in Henry until the news of possible suspension. Maybe he likes the name.
Fence Post
6 at Browns 7 vs Patriots 8 vs Giants 9 Bye 10 vs Bills 11 at Eagles 12 at Steelers 13 vs Jets 14 at Bills 15 vs Ravens 16 at Patriots Gore has this coming up... 6 BYE 7 @NYG 8 NO 9 @ATL 10 @SEA 11 STL 12 @ARI 13 @CAR 14 MIN 15 CIN 16 TB 17 @CLE Ronnie Brown has 4 TOUGH games against the run...2x NE, Phi, Pit, Bal with with 3 easy games...and Ronnie IS the #1 weapon on this team. Gore has 2 TOUGH games against the run...ARI and MIN. The question becomes...how bad will the Dolphins offense become...compared to how bad SF offense ALREADY is... In a TOUGH game against Houston Ronnie had over 100 yards rushing and 1TD...He's had 500+ yards from Scrimage in the last 3 weeks. In any game so far this year Gore hasn't run for 100 yards... rew70
So trade Gore............. If you can get Brown for Gore, then do it. Then call the local mental ward to have him committed. Stack the box against Brown? Do you think Green scared any defenses? No. They still stacked the box and RB has run right through them. Cleo will bring a threat of the running QB as said above which will help RB. Gore was bad when Smith was at QB. They have a bad OL, no WRs and now Dilfer at QB. I like Dilfer, always have. but he's just not the answer. SF has nothing but Gore and it's fairly easy to game plan against 1 guy and shut him down.
