Sgt. Ryan
When the season started I thought Dallas would make the playoffs, and hoped they would get to the divisional round. As the season grew on, obviously the expectations grew as well. This is Romo's first full season as a starter and he looks pretty damn good. With 2 1st round picks, and Jerry Jones fat wallet, I love this teams future. The OL is definately a strength, even if we let Flozell Adams leave in FA. Marion Barber has established himself as the RB of the future here Romo is the perfect QB for America's Team Dallas needs 1st round pick - Best CB available - Move Anthony Henry to FS, resign Hamlin, Roy moves to bench full time. 1st round pick - Limas Sweed or Malcolm Kelly at WR 2nd round pick - Take the best back available. This is going to be such a deep RB draft, a stud should be there in round 2. Bye Bye Julius. Sign a replacement for Terry Glenn. Preferably Donte Stallworth away from New England. Sign the best left tackle available. If its Flozell, fine, if not, get it done. Obviously this post is a month ahead of when I wanted to post it. But as a Boys fan, Im happy about my teams future. Congrats Dallas on a fine season. Hopefully this was just another stepping stone needed for Romo and Co to land the bigger prize in the near future. jjpro11
actually what the cowboys need to to is grow up and realize they arent america's team and they aren't above the nfl. thats probably why they havent won a playoff game in 11 years. they buy into their own hype as the season goes on and lose their edge come playoff time. the past 3 seasons all had the same trend. whomper
As I said yesterday this season was a waste. 13-3 and get bitch slapped at home = a forgetable garbage season. They forgot how to play football starting in the 3rd Q of the GB game. Good teams dont do that,
Piranha-z
Well, one good thing is we don't have to read all the BS out here about how Dallas will pound the Pack next weekend. What a joyous weekend it was Edited January 14, 2008 by Piranha-z

Bronco Billy
When was the last time DAL won a playoff game? Ah, well, it doesn't surpise me that Sarge would show up with a piece of fluffy homer meaninglessness like this rather than sack up & admit how wrong he'd been about his team. He's sackless, so how can he possibly sack up? Buh-bye girls, the NFL is better off with you at home.

His less than stellar post season record has to be a concern and knowing Jerry he won't hesitate to dump him in a heart beat if someone better was available like Bill Cowher. Wade will be here next yr. Hell he just led the Boys to their best regular season record ever, tying the 90s Boys team. The defense got better as the season went on, and I expect that to continue under Wade. Im more concerned with the lack of offense in the month of December. As I, and others have said, after Dallas spanked GB, they went on cruise control thinking they were a lock for the SB. But then maybe the Dallas offense really wasnt that great, just the GB defense sucked ass, who knows?

For some reason the Dallas offense lost focus towards the end of the season. I blame that on coaching. I'm not saying they shouldn't bring Wade back next year, as I thought he did a good job, but he needs to get them better focused at the end of the season and into the playoffs so they don't suffer another meltdown. The cowboys had a VERY good(maybe even great) regular season and at times looked unbeatable. 2. Neither Romo(0-2) nor Wade(0-4) have proved they can win in the playoffs yet. Or perhaps, as many pointed out, the Green Bay defense was riddled with injury at the time they faced the Cowboys. Dallas has everything in place except character. Maybe this year will be an object lesson and they will develope character forged in the crucible of a loss. If so that, coulpled with their draft situation, will make them a very dangerous team. Time for them to look to their roots, to Staubach, Waters, Landry, Smith, and Aikman, and to turn away from the arrogance of Jerrah, Irvin, and the self-congratulatory environment that has surrounded that team for far too long. There was a time when they wre respected in victory and were champions even in defeat. Now they are just loathed. It's sad really as they had everything they needed in place except for character. I believe they will get that back someday, perhaps under Garret, certainly they could under Cowher. Under Wade, I'm not seeing it.
