thud
Need a little help deciding who to start as my WR3. Calvin Johnson vs GB or Santonio Holmes vs CLE Calvin posted good PPR numbers for me last week, whilst Holmes gave me a paltry 3 points. Start/Bench is thinking Holmes is higher up than Calvin this week, but I'm a bit skittish. Now it looks like Big Ben has a shoulder issue still, and I'm worried about the impact on the passing game. Thoughts on who to start? Cheers! *thud*
lawn saver
Johnson is a stud, but so is Holmes.... I like Holmes's matchup this week better, thus I would pick him Please see mine http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=258167

femmefootball
The steelers usually pound cleveland with all they've got, so I think the matchup for holmes is better. That being said, I think you'll be ok either way. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=258191
watchurdaughters
Wow you really went WR heavy on your team this year.... you are going to have this dilema all season long (barring injuries of course) I suggest you start working trades for a solid RB ASAP using either of these guys. For this week start Holmes based soley on matchup...I
Bree22
I would go Johnson. GB will shut down the running game by simply scoring offend and Det will be playing catchup. Pitt will be ahead and will try to run out the clock and should not have the need to throw as offend. can you look at my post?
thud
Thanks for the votes Huds, I do appreciate it. @ WuD, Yeah, it was an odd draft for me this year. Had 12th pick in 14 team league. All the tier 1 RBs were gone early, and I just gobbled up the tier 1 and 2 WRs that people left on the board. Kinda hoping to wheel and deal for a RB post-draft. There are some teams very weak in WR dept., but their RBs are the only thing giving them hope. Those that could spare a RB, are pretty sound in WR rank, and are going to be the teams to beat. So I've been trying to figure out a way to pry a RB loose. Almost all the trades I've proposed, have come down to them wanting Reggie Wayne plus something else for their RB1/2. e.g. Gore, Barber, Jacobs, Bush. Those are about the only backs I have a chance of grabbing. Beyond that, the teams are based on their only RB, or have injuries in that dept. Think it's worth shopping my WR 1 or 2 for a RB upgrade? I have Chris Johnson, who could come through in spades, and Graham already. I'd feel better with a Bush on my team, but don't think it's worth a 1/2 WR. Thoughts? Shorttynaz
I'd feel better with a Bush on my team, but don't think it's worth a 1/2 WR. Thoughts? With what you have, I think you're right!
