Drop Fred Taylor ?

I've got Fred Taylor on my chopping block becuase I feel a strong need to handcuff Tim Hightower to Edge....

I drafted J Stewart too early and missed out on DeAngelo -- so now I'm feeling pressure to 'cuff Hightower w/ Edge

Meachem could also be dropped but now w/ Colston out he's got a chance to prove himself so I'd rather hold on there at least through this week...

Is it too early to let go of Freddie T even with their OLine being destroyed right now???

I guess my answer to this is: do you think anyone else is going to grab Hightower this week? If yes, then consider it. If not, perhaps give it a week, or at least until you see Jax 2nd game, and see how the situation looks. Taylor *should* be worth more (in a perfect world), but then again an injury could really hurt you if Taylor's weak and Edge is out. My instinct says wait and see about Taylor, but you know your opponents better than me, so if they're likely to snatch him then you might want to think about grabbing hightower.

Hey -- I think I'd stick with Taylor too. When the Jags are doing well, Fred is effectively a starting running back (so is Mojo); Hightower is just the goalline guy. The Jags ALWAYS run, the Cards will probably fall behind quite often and abandon the running game, plus they will score a lot on long passes and there will be no goalline opportunity for Hightower. Even if something happens to Edge, I'm not convinced HIghtower will get all the carries; and if he does I still don't know that I'd prefer him to Taylor.

The other thing you could do is dump Meacham for Hightower, and based on how they do this weekend decide what to do -- I would think there are plenty of Meacham-level receivers out there.
