Chief Dick
Cassell vs the Jets or Campbell vs the Saints. At this moment Campbell is in, but that I can't get that dreadful display of offense out of my mind from last week. Thinking I might just go with Cassell and pray, at least for the intrigue of it all. Plus that offense just has so much experience together. Not sure how the Saints secondary looks though. We get 6 points per TD and 1 point per 30 yards of passing. Any thoughts?
ts
I'd have a very tough time starting Campbell over just about anyone but Joe Flacco - and even today might consider Flacco a better start assuming it's possible for you to get negative points from the QB position in your league. Campbell & WAS in general simply looked so clueless on offense last week vs NYG that Cassell gets my vote ... he won't carry you today, but probably won't hurt you too bad either just because of the NEP system & the supporting cast. Eggman
The Saints are hurting on defense...I think Campbell rebounds from last week and puts up decent numbers. From seeing Cassel in the preseason and last week, he's not very good. I'd stay away from him until he shows he can put up numbers worthy of the fantasy gods. Kind of my thinking as well, but the whole inexperience factor is stuck in my head. BUT, he does have the weapons. Gawd I hate this game. Bonedaddies
Washington did have 3 extra days to recover, repair, and to shake off the webs from a dismal week one. I lean toward Campbell this week and look for a home victory for the Skins 24-20. Campbell 2 TD's one on the ground and one in the Air with 225yds. Chief Dick
Thanks all for the help. I'm going with Campbell, albeit grudgingly. The main reason is the Saints D had a hard time last week stopping both the run and the pass. I just need to see Cassell one more week before taking a chance. LOL - look at it this way CD - Campbell can't hardly be any worse than he was last game, so only 1 direction to go - maybe he'll get you 220/1 this week. ts
Wow - how about our J. Campbell, huh? I guess that NOS defense can make anybody look good.
