Johnson would be my number 2 bac behind Addai and would start every week and Holmes would be my number 2 WR.

Team:

WR: Welker, Meachem, Gage. Chris Henry, Anthony Gonzalez

TE: Witten

K: Bironas

Def: Bears

Thanks for any help

I would pick up greg olsen as my TE and I would actually drop Ted Ginn Jr, as he is still on my roster.

The team would look like this:

QB: Big Ben

RB: Addai, Chris Johnson

WR: Holmes, Welker, Gage, Meachem, Gonzalez and Chris Henry

TE: Olsen

K: Bironas

DEF: Bears

Well I pulled the trigger on the Witten deal and then I was able to trade Thomas Jones and Ted Ginn Jr. (who has been a major bust) for Chris Cooley who went on to get me 16 fantasy points with his 109yds and 1 TD.....

Thanks for the advice guys....got me a win this week...

QB: Big Ben

RB: Addai, Chris Johnson, LeRon McClain

WR: Santonio Holmes, Wes Welker, Robert Meachem, Justin Gage, Anthony Gonzalez

TE: Chris Cooley

DEF:Bears

Now I just need to package to WR's for a stud....lets see what I can pull off

Just to play devil's advocate here, I wouldn't necessarily gloss over Witten as just a TE. In a TE mandatory league, he is extremely valuable on a relative value basis. YTD, he has scored enough points to be the #9 WIDE RECEIVER in the league. On average, I would say he gets you approx. 5 more points than mostly all other tight ends on any given week.

Yes a RB (especially of Chris Johnson's caliber) is more valuable than a TE, but you must also factor in relative value. With Witten, you essentially get to start another WR to your opponent's tight end.

That said, it would be hard not to take Chris Johnson for Witten, especially given your lack of depth at RB (and the fact that TJ stinks (I have him too)).
