CiminoUM5
(please leave link so I can HIR) 10 team league, 1 ppr, .5 ppc. My team: QB - Cutler, Rivers, Orton RB - Westbrook, Gore, Forte, Stewart, Watson WR - Edwards, Holt, Bowe, Evans, White, Rice TE - Gates K - Bironas D - Philly Obviously my top 2 WRs have totally s*** the bed on me this year and have left me with a WR corps full of damn good 2/3 types, but no one I can count on week to week as a #1. I've been desperately looking over the other teams around the league and seeing what kind of deal I can come up with, but there's not a whole lot of possibilities. I'm dying to have Andre Johnson, but unfortunately the person who has him is just as high on him as I am, despite his slow start. The only team I can see maybe working something with looks like this: QB - Rodgers, Anderson, Delhomme RB - Lynch, Turner, Grant, Rudi WR - T.O., Calvin Johnson,Harrison, Royal, Meachem TE - Fasano, Shockey K - Rackers D - NYG, Buffalo I was originally going to propose Rivers & Edwards for TO, but I forgot he had Rodgers so I then wondered if this would really be benefiting him at all. Is it worth holding out for a week or two, hope Anderson continues to suck and Rodgers' injury causes a few games and then throw something out there? Or am I just overreacting here? Although my team is 2-2 and currently in 5th place, I've scored the most points in the league by 30. Is my best bet to sit tight, play the matchup game with my current wideouts, and wait until another team loses a QB to injury or whatever and then package Rivers? If you lead your league in points after 4 weeks, your team is OK. Don't sweat the record Your running backs are great - more so when Westbrook is healthy. Gates is getting healthy, Philly's D will generate points, and you're more than solid at QB WIth that lineup, you can get by with 2 WR2's (assuming you can flex your RBs) There are a couple of dead-wood guys - Rice and Watson. If Engram were available on the WW, he'd fix you right up. I scooped him up last week in our league. Rudi Johnson - if available - would be a nice pickup too Muhammad or Lance Moore would also fit the bill You could afford to pick up a Ryan Torain and stash him until he returns. With all the RB injuries, you could probably package Stewart + (say) Lee Evans to get a borderline WR1...

Some of the names that are available: Kevin Walter, Michael Bush, Randel-El, Gage, Breaston, Battle, Fred Jackson, Galloway, Fargas. Galloways the one who looks the best to me, though he doesn't clear waivers till tomorrow. Walter's probably next. I like Breaston as long as Boldin's out, but it may not be that long. SLGRAF
I'd drop Rice for Walter. That will give you a solid, but not great, WR corps. BTW, do you start two QBs every week, or is there another reason people are carrying three QBs? If you don't start two QBs, then trading Rivers as part of a package to upgrade at WR makes sense. CiminoUM5
No, we just start 1 QB. Only reason I have 3 is because last week Gostowski was on a bye so I had picked up Lindell and obviously didn't need 2 kickers.
