jetsfan
This is very unlike AJ to speak out about the team losing and him not getting the ball. He has not once spoken out since he started here. The guy is class act. Hopefully Kubiak gets the message and gets him the ball some more.
WaterMan
He's a talented guy on a crappy team. Kind of like how Chris Chambers was with Miami. I feel sorry for high draft picks that get stuck on losing teams.
Outshined
I hope he has a big week. I think it is just him stepping up as a leader to try and make some changes. When someone asked Johnson about his creating opportunities for Walter, he didn’t buy it. “If that’s how you guys feel about it,” he said. “I just go out and play. All I care about is winning. Like you said, you can see the frustration. I’m tired of losing. I’m pretty sure everyone else around here is tired of losing.” It’s always something. If you listen to some of these coaches long enough, you’d think they were designing a nuclear reactor. There are ways to get a player the ball if there’s a desire to do so. How about a quick screen or a slant? How about a four-wide receiver set? How about attacking instead of reacting?
The Waterboy
That's a poorly written op-ed piece. The writer splices in comments by AJ with some more inflammatory ones that he comes up with himself. Makes it sound more controversial than it is. If I were Andre Johnson, I'd be a little annoyed at him as well.
jetsfan
That's a poorly written op-ed piece. The writer splices in comments by AJ with some more inflammatory ones that he comes up with himself. Makes it sound more controversial than it is. If I were Andre Johnson, I'd be a little annoyed at him as well. Andre was on the radio this morning and is pissed that they have not won more this year. Astonishing, I know. The Texans were very good at home last year (6-2), and I think he is trying to rally the troops. I expect a high scoring affair this weekend. I made this post because he does not speak poorly about the team ever. You could tell in the interview this morning that he is mad.
kingfish247
So AJ is sick of losing and just wants to win. Am I missing something? Nothing to see here...

I just started reading the blog article and realized I couldn't tell which were AJ's quotes and which were the writers...
rebdog
nicely written artice.... AJ only says he's frustrated, like other players on the Texans probably are, and wants to win. The author splices in stuff about Johnson not getting the ball. and you wonder why reporters get a bad name.
michaelman
"Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Johnson was taken out of the game by Jacksonville rolling its defense to his side of the field. That’s silly. If he can’t figure out a way to get the ball to his best offensive player, he should hire someone who can. When someone asked Johnson about his creating opportunities for Walter, he didn’t buy it. “If that’s how you guys feel about it,” he said. “I just go out and play. All I care about is winning.
