Our league is 1 pt per reception, 1 pt per 10 yards, and an 8 pt bonus for 100 yards (200 yard extra, 300 yards extra 8 etc)

 

S. Holmes at Jacksonville

 

or D. Mason at home vs Titans

 

On paper, pre-season, I would have Holmes locked in, but their O line woes, Burger being banged up some, worry me. Of course Mason is the prime target for Flacco, he could catch every dump off. The long bomb may not be an option for Pittsburgh, but Mason pilling up yardage and catches and breaking a 100 yards is better than 3 catches for 50 yards and a TD from Holmes.

 

Anyone have an opinion on this?

This is a tough call. I actually like both matchups. Big Ben will have to throw because they have NO running backs. Mason has been looking good with Flacco. I think both games will be low scoring. I have a slight lean towards Mason but you can't go wrong either way. Good luck..please see mine.

I agree, Mason looks a little better/safer. I expect Baltimore to be behind again and need to do a lot of throwing. Holmes is inconsistent and at Jacksonville with some possible neck injury I'd bet on him not having his best week this week.

In a PPR, I like Mason. He is definitely Flacco's first and last look and good for 5-7 catches. Holmes is too feast or famine for me and the weakness of the o-line doesn't bode well for a deep threat like Holmes.
