LayLow
I would probably want to play team 3. his QB is less likely to have a big game and other then Forte, i wouldn't be worried about anyone else on that team.
detlef
I would probably want to play team 3. his QB is less likely to have a big game and other then Forte, i wouldn't be worried about anyone else on that team. Interesting. Not the guy I would have expected before I looked at the match-ups because he's been far better than everyone but me this year, though I can see your point. The irony is that my team, despite completely dominating the league this year (high scorer in 6 of the 14 weeks, highest total overall by 150 pts, etc) has some rather sketchy match-ups as well. FWIW, I have Manning, so that sets up an interesting situation with Wayne and Clark. Edited December 9, 2008 by detlef
Hugh 0ne
Team 1 Rivers, Philip SDC QB 5 at Chiefs Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 Jacobs, Brandon NYG RB 4 at Cowboys Sun 8:15 p.m. ET 2 Williams, DeAngelo CAR RB 6 vs Broncos Sun 4:15 p.m. ET 2 Harrison, Marvin IND WR 1 vs Lions Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 Moore, Lance NOS WR 3 at Bears Thu 8:15 p.m. ET 1 Owens, Terrell DAL WR 4 vs Giants Sun 8:15 p.m. ET 1 Gates, Antonio SDC TE 5 at Chiefs Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 Kaeding, Nate SDC PK 1 at Chiefs Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 Titans, Tennessee TEN Def 5 at Texans Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 55 points Team 2 Romo, Tony DAL QB 5 vs Giants Sun 8:15 p.m. ET 1 Brown, Ronnie MIA RB 3 vs 49ers Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 Gore, Frank SFO RB 4 at Dolphins Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 2 Boldin, Anquan ARI WR 6 vs Vikings Sun 4:05 p.m. ET 3 Bowe, Dwayne KCC WR 3 vs Chargers Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 2 Smith, Steve CAR WR 5 vs Broncos Sun 4:15 p.m. ET 2 Cooley, Chris WAS TE 6 at Bengals Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 Rackers, Neil ARI PK 5 vs Vikings Sun 4:05 p.m. ET 2 Colts, Indianapolis IND Def 2 vs Lions Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 60 points Team 3 Manning, Eli NYG QB 3 at Cowboys Sun 8:15 p.m. ET 2 Bush, Reggie NOS RB 4 at Bears Thu 8:15 p.m. ET 1 Forte, Matt CHI RB 6 vs Saints Thu 8:15 p.m. ET 2 Jackson, Steven STL RB 3 vs Seahawks Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 Houshmandzadeh, T.J. CIN WR 5 vs Redskins Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 2 Wayne, Reggie IND WR 4 vs Lions Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 Clark, Dallas IND TE 4 vs Lions Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 Bironas, Rob TEN PK 6 at Texans Sun 1:00 p.m. ET 3 Bears, Chicago CHI Def 6 vs Saints Thu 8:15 p.m. ET 2 62 points OK, so this isn't exactly brain surgery, but it's pretty damn close. I selected the starters that I would start for each team. I then gave them a 6 if they're a stud, all the way down to a 1 if they're a dud. I based that on YTD points, but did take injuries into consideration. Then, since I think matchup is less important than the player, I gave them rankings anywhere from a 3 for a good matchup, down to a 1 for a tough matchup. I then added the totals up, and the team with the most points would be your toughest opponent, the team with the least will most likely be your easiest opponent. So, team 1 is your best bet imo. And remember, the numbers never lie. Edited December 9, 2008 by Hugh 0ne

Hugh 0ne
Nice effort! Least I could do. It's just a ballpark, but it's pretty much based on matchup and performance. Gives you an idea as to what you might be able to expect.
