franchizetag
I'm back in the same position as last year. Instead of Brady against the Jets in a WINDY, RAINY Foxboro. I have Brees, outdoors against Chicago. The weather check for Thursday has it at Partly cloudy and 24°F. I lost because of that 0 Brady laid on me, when I had D. Garrard posting a good game. Am I over thinking this, when does the weather truly matter. Last year I saw Rothelisberger throw 5 TD's in a snow storm and then in the same year have that 3-0 slog fest against Miami I think. Brees has had Road issues to boot, so is Thigpen really that out of line. Most likely we'll play Brees unless the weather turns, but surely there are plenty of Brees owners wondering the same thing What's your opinion
RJV
I have Ben, Ryan and Thiggy. Im starting Thiggy with his matchup this week. That said, if I was in your position, I would start Brees. If I had Brees I would never bench him. Thiggy does have a very nice matchup, 3 TDs and 250 yrds last time he played SD. isleseeya
Brees ...cant sit best QB in league and biggest fantasy producer in FFL playoff game ...unless the weather is completely atrocius ( snowing and winds of 30 + MPH )
franchizetag
Thank you both. However, can you explain why the difference home vs. road this year. I know everyone wants to blame the turf differences, but I'm wondering if it's not the lack of a running game, which hopefully is changing with Pierre ascerting himself lately. electricrelish
Brees is not that good outdoors this year, but still he's pretty darn good. The upside is too good to sit him unless the weather is really, really bad. Stick with Brees.
