NFL.COM & Fanball: Hixon expects to play despite injury Domenik Hixon, WR NYG News: Giants WR Domenik Hixon, who has replaced suspended receiver Plaxico Burress in the starting lineup, said he would be ready to go Sunday against the Cowboys despite practicing on a limited basis Friday because of foot and ankle injuries. Hixon also missed practice Wednesday and Thursday. He has been listed as questionable for Week 15. Analysis: Hixon sustained the foot injury Week 12 against the Cardinals, but has played through the injury ever since. He looked good against Philly Week 14 despite the injury and almost had a 85-yard touchdown had he not dropped a wide open pass.
