electricrelish
OK, it's championship week. I'm down already by 24.50 to my opponent who has Dallas Clark. Let's be frank Tony Romo has a bad match up. Tyler Thigpen is probably going to be playing in bad weather, possibly windy and the Miami secondary has played well these past 3 weeks. Should I grab Dan Orlovsky off the waiver wire and start him? He's played really well as of late and he has a great match up? Have I lost my mind? Anyways, I would like to get your feed back on my starting roster for the championship game compared to my opponents. Any advice is appreciated. Leave your link and I will answer yours. 12-Team League - PPR High Stakes Real Time Fantasy Sports Mighty Pugs - my team Starters QB Tony Romo (DAL) RB Willie Parker (PIT) RB Tashard Choice (DAL) WR Hines Ward (PIT) WR Steve Smith (CAR) WR Bernard Berrianr (MIN) TE Heath Miller (PIT) K Matt Prater (DEN) D/ST Chicago Bears Bench RB Marion Barber (DAL) QB Tyler Thigpen (KC) RB Mewelde Moore (PIT) WR Laveranues Coles (NYJ) WR Davone Bess (MIA) D/ST Tennessee Titans The Untouchables - my opponent's team Starters QB Eli Manning (NYG) RB Ronnie Brown (MIA) RB DeShaun Foster (SF) WR Andre Johnson (HOU) WR Santana Moss (WAS) WR Wes Welker (NE) TE Dallas Clark (IND) K Ron Lindell (BUF) D/ST Philadelphia Eagles Bench QB Kerry Collins (TEN) QB Brian Griese (TB) RB Willis McGahee (BAL) RB Frank Gore (SF) WR Roy WIlliams (DAL) WR Amani Toomer (NYG) TE Jeremy Shockey
sdrewp75
I am in the same situation and I'm opting for Romo. I know other Huddlers are gonna say I'm crazy but I think Romo is still going to post some decent fantasy numbers.

It also supposed to be windy but Thiggy did pretty well in the wind last week.
insideout33
i would say no! go with romo. he got you here. i have rodgers to consider but without any disrespect, thigpen is not rodgers. and would you really be happy with yourself if you lose because of thigpen? at least with romo, he's the horse that got you here and if he fails you can't really do anything but shrug. good luck

A wind chill advisory means that very cold air and strong winds Will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in Frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors...make sure you wear a hat and Gloves.

Any wind in subzero weather is considered a severe wind chill advisory. 5 MHP can take -10 and make it feel like -20, so they put up advisories to warn people to cover their extremities. They are predicting 19 mph NW at http://www.wunderground.com/sports/NFL/hom...l?st=1229868000

They are predicting 19 mph NW at http://www.wunderground.com/sports/NFL/hom...l?st=1229868000 The wind swirls in Arrowhead which affects the kickers more than anyone. Last week the wind was around the same and Rivers and Thigpen both had good games. I think I would be more concerned with MIA using their running game to shorten the game to get out of the cold. Other than that I really don't think that the wind will affect Thigpen anyways because they do not through the ball deep at all. It is more the short routes to TG and Bowe which he has a strong enough arm to get through the wind.
