Keepers - PLEASE READ

I don't know if there's an official keepers thread out there. If there is, please let me know here, thanks.

 

I'm willing to give my input to whoever posts here with their lineups (via post or sig) along with the maximum possible number of keepers their league allows for next year. (i.e., 1, 2, 3 or 4+ keepers)

 

My league allows me to keep 3 current players for next year, so I need your opinion between these players below.

 

Name, Team - Position Rank in My League - My League Points AVG - (My Thoughts)

Tyler Thigpen, KC - #17 - 27.1 - (he could improve greatly next year, has been hot lately- the QBs in my league get the most points - 1 point per 10 yards passing)

Steven Jackson, StL - #20 - 11.9 - (not sure if he'll be reliable next year, health-wise, plus Ram's O-Line sucks)

(K) Adrian Peterson, MIN - #8 - 15.9 - (no-brainer here, really. Definitely a keeper.)

(K) Steve Smith, Car #9 - 15.5 - (had 7 100+ receiving games this season, but not enough touchdowns, still averages decent numbers)

(K) Wes Welker, NE - #8 - 15.7 - (one of the most consistent WRs in the league, will he still be getting recs when Brady/Moss duo returns?)

Ravens D/ST - #1 - 11.3 - (I can probably draft Ravens D/ST again next year if I'm lucky, but this was the #1 defense this year in my league)

 

(K) - My current Keeper choice, possibly subject to change.

I think you've made the right choices. Brady/Moss certainly didn't hurt Welker in 2007, and SJax has been very hit or miss the past couple of years between the state of the Rams in general and his inablility to stay healthy in particular.
