The Yakuza
LT has been steadily declining for 3 years now. With an season lingering injury and with the Chargers not playing the run as strong as they used to I expect LT to drop in most drafts quite a bit. This year he went 1 or 2 in most drafts. Next year I expect him to be in the 7 to 8 range. That's where he should average out. I don't think I'd even put him that high. I say around 10. I know with some of the guys in my league they'll take him high. What say you?
dino88
If he's still available late in the 2nd round I'll take him...but I'd rather have several rb's, a top wr, or a qb like brees again before thinking about him. Mark5
It will depend on the league scoring system but he should still be a top 8 RB. Our league is weighted towards longer TDs but if I am sitting at 8 or 9 and he is still out there I would probably take him and hope for the best. But what do I know, I took Addia at 6 this year and still made the playoffs (pure freakin luck and picking up Lance Moore and Tony G. having a career year) Ina standard league, still top 6. The Yakuza
I'd be interested to hear what DMD thinks about this topic. David? It is so hard to say. We kept expecting LT to break out of his slump and never really did. Even on the last game he only had 90 yards against my Broncos crappy run D. Sure the 3 TDs made up for it but his running has been horrendous this year even when he was healthy. Attribute some of that to his O-line of course but he just never looked like the old LT. We have 14 people in our leage and I think I may take him at 10 and back. There are going to be a plethra of young good RB's this next year. sacosud
I think he's a buy low. My league is a ppr league and he put up top 5 numbers. He actually was 5th. Dwill, Forte, Turner, MDJ was the only ones ahead of him. I think all this smoke and mirrors in the offseason is just bout done and LT2 will have another top 5 season. Buy low and keep him for maybe a year or 2 if your in a win now mode. Redraft I would take him somewhere in the 5 -9 range no doubt.
