Westbrook for Jacobs

I have been offered Westbrook for Jacobs straight up in a dynasty league.

It is standard scoring & PPR

I guess the question is will Westbrook be around for 2 or 3 years ?

Or am i missing something else ?

IMO, at this point Jacobs clearly has more long term value than Westbrook, but in a PPR Westbrook is much more likely to be the better player FFwise for the next 1-2 years.

 

I guess I would lean towards making the deal if your team is strong and adding a guy like Westbrook is likely to push you to the top of the pack, or at least into the top echelon, realizing it is a play for the now and not a long term move.

 

If you are in more of a rebuild/middle of the road area with your team and the bump to Westy is not going to put you in championship contention, I would pass and either hold onto Jacobs, or look to deal him for youth/picks with greater upside.

Thanks Big Country ,, that was my thinking but to tell you the truth i traded away Westbrook 3 years ago thinking he was to injury prone and that cost me the champion ship 2 years in a row now. I just have a feeling if i was to trade to get him back, karma would bite me in the arse and this will be the year he goes down.

I hate that feeling cause I get it all the the time. You trade for him and he'll get turf toe or something.. you don't trade for him and he'll have an MVP season.
