Big Country
What are your lineup requirements? I ask because you already have mcNabb at QB, with Campbell as a serviceable backup. You already have Roddy White, Bowe, Santana and Braylon at WR You would be strengthening your strengths at a minimum of cost, so from that perspective it is a good deal. At RB you have Chris Johnson, Postis and the Seattle guys.... Not bad, but that is the area I would address if possible out of the positions listed. Any chance he would adjust the deal to make it an RB upgrade for you? Now, I wouldn't just outright say no to his offer, as I do think it provides you with depth (I am torn on which WR to suggest, Ocho and his wackiness with no TJ there or Berrian with Tarvaris Jackson throwing to him, I would like more time to consider, but, given your solid WRs in place, go with Ocho.. more upside at this point IMO), but I would counter with something like saying, you know, this offer doesn't really address my primary need, but if we could push that to a later rookie pick (not sure how many rounds you go), or even modify the deal to be an RB upgrade (maybe he'll take the SEA RBs and something for LT or Forte.. can't hurt to try) you would be more inclined to say yes.
