The Wolf
Greg Jennings for Thomas Jones and Brandon Marshall. Dynasty, no contracts, ppr and start 3 - 4 WR's and 2 - 3 RB's. Jennings owner is decent at WR and older at RB. I am the owner who would get Jennings. I want something for Jones while he has value and the possibility that Marshall becomes a Burress or a Vick is driving me nuts. My RB's are Forte, Grant, Thomas Jones, Felix Jones, Moreno, Choice and James Davis. My WR's are Fitz, Megatron, Marshall, Miles, Hixon, Floyd and Stuckey. Thoughts? bpwallace49
I like it. Marshall situation is up in the air while Jennings has a solid QB. Plus you get some value for Tjones while you still can . . . I am bullish on Jennings, and think he can be a top 5 WR in Green Bay .

As an FYI the Jennings owner emailed me that we'll chat later about the deal and that he is "really high" on James Davis, my 2.12 rookie pick. Be interesting to see what the other guy is willing to offer
tazinib1
I'd do that trade in a heart beat.
tazinib1
I didn't see the James Davis part. Not so sure I'd deal him in a dynasty league, even though you are getting a stud WR in Jennings.
The Wolf
My thoughts are that you haven't made that offer yet and you're really wondering if you can pull off the trade since you know deep inside that it's a BS trade and many would find it borderline insulting. ... I kinda like James Davis, but I would say that those three players for Jennings would finally make the deal close to fair. The trade was floated to me Opie. Not the other way around. Never presume to know something when, clearly, you don't. Edited July 18, 2009 by The Wolf
The Wolf
I passed on the deal. The Jennings owner offered this scenario to me yesterday as we were IMing. I was very interested in it in the original form, but when he also asked for James Davis, it was just too much for me to give up. If Thomas Jones has himself a couple of good games, I'll try to move him. As for Marshall, he is my #3 WR and they all carry some risk. Hopefully he comes back healthy and does not get himself in trouble again. Until the season starts, however, I will still try to move him also. Thanks for the input, all! The Jennings owner has Jamal Lewis and "wants to back him up." This kid is hot for Davis, and it is not just as a handcuff for Lewis. Sent me an offer thru MFL of Hakeem Nicks for Davis.
