Furd
Anyone have it? I just opened the box and, as usual, the guide contains no real information other than an explanation of the joystick controls.
Seahawks21
Yeah I got sucked in. Got bored within a week. There are just too many parameters, while real fighting is so random. This has got to be one of the hardest games to make in history. Send me a PM if you have questions on the controls.
Menudo
Like Seahawks, I picked up, played it and liked it at first. However, I got bored with it quickly. I did do a career and won the heavyweight belt, finishing like 28-9 and retiring. The timing was perfect, because I was done with this one. Haven't touched it since and will likely trade it in. As Seahawks said, this is just a hard sport to make a game for. They did a decent job though, and have something to try to build from. In fact, I have to laugh because I've often asked myself. It's likely more of a rental game than a purchase game.
wildcat2334
have the PS3 version and was so fired up when this game came out........... ended up playing for a couple hours and that was all she wrote. Game play is hit and miss, the subs and takedown stuff is difficult and it just ends up in a button-mashing fest, unfortunately. As big of an MMA fan as I am - the Boxing Fight Night games are WAY BETTER, and a freaking blast to play. I just don't see MMA ever translating into a good video game, which is too bad. tonyr0802
I also have this and will admit I'm biased. I enjoy fighting with Chris "Lights Out" Lytle, was friends with him in high school. Kind of weird seeing him in a video game
