Wolfpack Nation
* 10 team auction style keeper league * Keep 3 players from previous year. * 300 dollar auction draft. * Keep 3 Qb, 6 Rb, 7 Wr/Te, 2 K, 2 Team D's * Start 1 Qb, 3 Rb, 4 Wr/Te, 1 K, 1 Def. I'm keeping Maurice Jones-Drew for 74 pts. and Pierre Thomas for 6 pts. My dilemma is do I keep Antonio Bryant for 6pts. or Cedric Benson for 14 pts. In our league, running backs tend to go for more than an equal wide receiver. Thanks for any help!
ts
Both CBen & Bryant come with some risk this year IMO, but I'd think Bryant's upside potential may be higher even given the unsettled TBB situation at QB ... and since you are already keeping 2 RBs, perhaps using that 3rd keeper spot on a WR (when you have to start 4) makes some sense. Bryant seems like decent value at $6, especially if PPR.
Outlaws1
You're better off with Bryant. I never have or ever will trust Benson.
Duchess Jack
I think you can do better than Bryant and Benson might have finally turned the corner and he's still pretty young. I'd use Thomas Jones as a person with a similar career. I'd go Benson. If you do though - try to pick up B. Scott in later rounds because if Benson has issues and Scott has to start - he should make some noise and be just as good, hopefully better, than Benson.
