xPattonx
If I was to tell you a certain QB opens the season with these pass defenses in this order (chiefs-chargers-browns-patriots-bengals-vikings-broncos-bengals-browns) wouldn't you be excited about his potential even if he plays for a run first team? Now what if I told you it was Joe Flacco wouldn't you bump him up in your rankings especially with Mason back? I know I would and I have. I'm not saying Flacco will be a starter in 12 team leagues but I'm saying he could be a borderline starter and a guy you can have in most drafts in round 12-13. The catch is that after week 9 things get dicey and the Ravens do play much better defenses but hey, He's definitely worthy of a bye week fill in pretty much every week and who knows, maybe he impresses enough through the first 9 weeks to provide you with great trade bait down the stretch. Just something to think about if you don't like taking backup QB's early but still want a productive guy.
cffl2323
he's got three pretty good defenses in there(chargers, pats, vikes), and a run/defense oriented team. IMO

IMO I am just not really that high on Flacco and maybe that's why I wouldn't pick him. However the def. he plays are pretty pathetic and even the 3 that were mentioned are (Chargers) 31st, (Pats) 11th, and (Vikes) 18th against the pass. I guess you could take a flyer on him and see if he gives you something. CROC
