xPattonx
I saw somebody drop their kicker today so they could add another rb. That's frikkin' brilliant! I don't know why I've never thought of this. I look for any little edge I can get and I like this tactic. Kickers are kickers are kickers!!!! I'll pick a rb up (fred Taylor is available) and roll with 6 rb's until I decide which rb I want to drop before the start of the season. I will have Jacobs/Moreno/L.White/Felix/McClain/Taylor. I'll probably end up droping Fred and picking up maybe my same kicker but the point it this tactic allows you to add another position player and have one more player to evaluate during pre season. I like it! Edited August 4, 2009 by xPattonx
xPattonx
A) Why have you drafted already and why does your league allow waivers before week 1 has finished ? I like to draft a little early. I put in a lot of work starting in June and ending around the first of Aug. I feel it gives me a little edge. I don't expect everybody else that drafts in money leagues this early to have already put in the time I have. Why give people a chance to hear about sleepers and such from magazines and the media and catch up to me? And my league(s) allow the waiver process to start as soon as the draft ends-CBS sports line. So you can't project a players season or position battles. Is that what your saying?
