3xcrazy
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson is campaigning to the team's coaching staff to use him and backup running back Darren Sproles together more often. Head coach Norv Turner seems to be shying away from the two-halfback idea since neither back is a very accomplished blocker. As preseason camp continues, it will be interesting to see if Turner changes his mind and actually tries LT's idea. The fantasy impact here is that the more time Sproles spends on the field, the higher the probability that he will take more of Tomlinson's workload. Regardless, Tomlinson still remains a safe pick in the middle of the first round and Sproles should be one of the first handcuff backs drafted.
