Thunder Chicken
I bottled a new batch of beer last night for my going away party in a couple weeks. I was sanitizing all the bottles and equipment, i couldn"t find gloves.. long story short.. i have a pretty good chemical burn on the fingers and back of my right hand. Does anybody have a cure or treatment for bleach induced burn?
westvirginia
Bleach is alkaline, so you'd need an acid, like vinegar or pickle juice to neutralize the burn. Water only makes it worse. Didn't you see fight club?
Kid Cid
ONce th burn is there, like WV says, you need an alkaline to neutralize it. Once that is done, you can only let it heal.
Thunder Chicken
My mother in law slathered on a mixture of aloe, marshmallow root, licorice and some other stuff. feels better now. Must say I never really liked Fight Club, I've never seen the whole thing start to finish.
