Randall
I'd rather focus on what a dousche' Brett Favre has become. He lies to the Jets abut retiring so he would be releasing while faxing the Vikings his medical records the very next day. He then leads the team on for months, then it turns out he want to pull a Strahan and avoid training camp. Why didn't you just tell the truth Brett? This is going to be a interesting season. I need to pick up opposing team DB's ASAP. Edited August 18, 2009 by Randall

I hope he gets into a pre-season game and gets knocked out for the year. Too bad Brett, streak over, can't break Jim Marshall's record, which IMO is no small part of why he's coming back. No? What else (you can joke about the money but he's not exactly broke)? His "love for the game?" I'll only buy that so far. PS last year proved he doesn't have much left in the tank anyway and cannot be counted on (surprise). If I was a Vikes fan I would hate this move for a wide variety of reasons. While I'm a huge Viking fan and know that our chances of getting to the Big Dance improves with Favre behind center I still hate that my Vikings did this. I think that it's a complete joke how Brett has handled the last 4 years and we are seeing now that the people that were blaming Ted Thompson were wrong. Brett WAS a great player. He's not a great player today. With all the media distractions and division he might cause in the locker room with his egocentric behavior he could destroy any chemistry that the Vikes might have had going into this season. max
I think the WRs will get a bump for the 6-8 games Favre plays well in before he runs out of gas again. Coming off arm surgery at his age isn't something that is easy to recover from. After a bunch of hits and a lot of passing attempts, I can't imagine him playing at a high level all season long. And how high do you think Huddle will bump them up? I picked up Harvin and Rice mainly because of Favre coming back. Favre won't have to throw for 300 yards every game, but I think the Vikings receivers will still see more passes coming their way than in recent years. Valhalla
From watching the 2 games he was in, if anyone is to move up it's the TE Shiancoe. Berrian and him have done literally nothing together yet so it's hard to envision him starting fast (but it could happen). The coaching staff has man love for Harvin, so I think he'll do decent in a flex...
