BeeR
Just wondering. I realize they tend to happen less in these kind of leagues vs bigger keepers or dynasties, but leagues I've been in trades hardly ever happen because you get these yahoos who expect something for nothing and make ridiculous offers. Big Country
In my low keeper leagues (ie, 6 or less keepers with a 16-20 man roster), we actually had a lot of trades in the offseason right before keepers were declared and often right around the trade deadline. The funny thing is, often times the trade deadline deals were teams out of contention dealing for future picks or a young upside guy, and the offseason deals were many times these same teams trading a pick for an improved keeper. BeeR
? Just IMO but I wouldn't call up to 6 keepers a "low" keeper league

Local redraft. In my first season last year, I spurred more trade activity in the league than there had ever been before. There were probably 10 trades over the course of the season, I was involved in more than half.
Square
Main local is a 12 team league and has had zero trades in 3 years. Everyone is too paranoid that they are getting screwed or they give low ball nonsense.

Pip's Invitation
My 12-team redraft: almost never. My 14-team auction with max 4 keepers: a handful of trades per year, and a few in the offseason. My 12-team snake draft with max 6 keepers: a few trades early on because of injuries, then usually a flurry of trades at the deadline. But this league has 28 rounds and no waiver wire, so trading is the only way to improve your roster after the draft.
