bigblue82 Posted August 24, 2009 Share Posted August 24, 2009 I just completed my draft a few days ago and i drafted Matt Ryan as my backup to Big Ben, but Kyle Orton is sitting in free agency and I was wondering who would be the smarter choice Ryan or Orton? Remember Brandon Marshall (who I did pick as a risk) is very discontent on the reformed Broncos and a new offensive scheme will be in Denver this year. BIGBOY08 Posted August 24, 2009 Share Posted August 24, 2009 Orton is in FA for a reason. He's horrible. After seeing Matt play this past week he looked extremely sharp for a 2nd year guy. I know it's only preseason but IMO its a great indication of what's to come. Matt's weapons are pretty darn good. Tony G, Roddy White and Michael Turner. I personally dont want to anything to do with a single sole on Denvers roster. Circus! I can see Simms replacing Orton by the midway point of the season. Personally the only reason Orton is starting is because McDaniels would look like a fool if Simms were named the starter when he once had Cutler. McDaniels has caused drama with there two best offensive players and the season hasn't even started. (Marshall and Cutler) INSANE!
