Top 10 in PPR last year:

1. Matt Forte

2. DeAngelo Williams

3. Maurice Jones-Drew

4. Thomas Jones

5. Brian Westbrook

6. Michael Turner

7. Adrian Peterson

8. Steve Slaton

9. Chris Johnson

10. Landian Tomlinson

So who falls out and who steps into the top 10?

fwiw, I only looked at the past few seasons and it shows that there is always a decent amount of turnover

in the top 10(2006: 4 fell out, 2007: 6 fell out, 2008: 7 fell out)

For me I say falling out is:

Thomas Jones

Brian Westbrook

Michael Turner

Chris Johnson

Steve Slaton

Stepping in:

Reggie Bush

Frank Gore

Stephen Jackson

Clinton Portis

Ronnie Brown

ok so I will also go out on a limb and try to predict the final top 10 RBs for 2009

Gore

AP

LT

MJD

Bush

DeWilly

RBrown

SJax

Forte

Portis

i just cant understand the Bush call ?? great NFL player but never top 10 FF

Keg is talking PPR, Bush makes it in easily if he plays 16 games. He was #5 last year and #6 his rookie year, in avg points per game played.

Slaton, seems to be a somewhat popular choice for falling off, which I don't buy into. Dude is a PPR machine who doesn't have a real threat to take away playing time.

thank you

In PPR he is decent and that's what this thread's about. At least I think so.

yep

Thomas Jones?, Westbrook and Chris Johnson should fall out.

why the ? about TJ

does it mean you aren't sure about him or that people are crazy for saying he will fall out of the top 10?

A lot of love for Gore, a player who is consistently falling towards the end of the first round of my fantasy drafts. I think he may be the first round player who's public opinion is the hardest to get a read on.

My personal opinion is that Washington will start to pry some carries away to eventually, TJ only gets short yardage carries. He's getting old and a potentially nice rookie waiting in the wings. Just think of Edge last year. Was number one until about 3 games in then it was the HT show.

I think TJ falls from the top 10....my question was to Scooby's Beater about his "Thomas Jones?" comment

I think that avernus can have a different opinion than everyone else that drafts at mfl.

he can have his own opinion just that how he stated it made it seem like it was a foregone conclusion he was a consensus top 10 RB is

do I have to say it was my opinion?...I thought that goes without saying...

I feel that Thomas would have been a lock inside the top 10 had he stayed healthy...

..there..

and it is my...forgone conclusion that he would be a top 10 RB by years end which is probably something we'll never get to find out because I always sour on RB's who have even a small injury to their wheels before the season starts...

edit: and I could give two doodies about a consensus.....

Thomas Jones is going to be this year's SOD with the way people value him. I think his TD total goes down, but not his touches.... sure, Leon will get more touches, but the Jets will have more touches to give their RB's this year. Jones will still get the GL looks. He will still get most of the carries and most of the snaps.

Westbrook's demise has been forecasted for how many years now? In PPR, he is still a value play.

Grant and Portis I think will be the dissappointments. No way Slaton falls out.... not in PPR. I like K Smith for a big year. I think C Johnson could fall out.

Jacobs stays out because of Bradshaw. I am one of the few that think LT won't be in the top ten this year.
