mlvc
ppr league I Get Steve Smith I Give McFadden and Addai I have good (not great) RB Depth even after trade Gore,Pierre,Beanie,leSean McCoy,FWP not great but I don't like the Raider situation at all this season. Saints just shut down thier Run game for crying out loud and I reall could use a starting WR. I am afraid to pull the trigger on this one I would love to see what McFadden can do and Addai in a ppr is kind nice. would you do it? Gore & Pierre are a real solid 1/2 IMO. Look back at Addai's career. He really had only 1 good year. McFadden could be solid but with your backs you should be ok. If you could try to swing a deal to get Smith for Addai and a #2 type WR you might be better off. The other problem is that I don't know how many RBs you start. If you can start a 3rd RB as a flex then I would really try to keep McFadden.
Jackass
most mocks have steve smith and mcfadden going around the same spot. Now you may have different views on those players but you're essentially giving him addai for free.
ebartender
But on mlvc's team McFadden is his #3 RB whereas Smith would start unless of course the guy has two other stud WR. Of course if his league starts 3 RB or has a flex spot my opinion changes.
mlvc
I do start 2 RBs 2 wrs + 1 flex the other guy is stacked at WR and short on RBs I need a solid WR I got DeSean, Housh, and Santans Moss Really want a top WR like smith huddle says Smith had a somewhat quiet year and yet still ranked #3 in the NFL with 1421 receiving yards and the Panthers have one of the better passing schedules for wideouts this year, I could really use that. vikinglion
If YOU feel good about it, why not? McFadden hasn't proven a lot yet. Sure he could be real good, but Steve Smith also qualifies as "real good." If you really want a top WR, here's your chance. If this is your best option for a WR, I'd say to do it. If there is some other way to get a quality WR, then of course, look at that.
