mdaschaf
Just drafted in a 12 team performance league. Only difference is TD passes are worth 6. We get one keeper and I had 5th pick, 14 rounds draft not including the keeper. Need to start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 Def, 1 K QB: Donovan McNabb (Rd 5, 5) David Garrard (Rd 10, 8) RB: Frank Gore (Rd 1, 5) Ray Rice (Rd 3, 5) This was probably a reach, but this league still drafted RB heavy early and by the time this pick came around 21 RBs had already been taken via keepers or draft Felix Jones (Rd 6, 8) Donald Brown (Rd 7, 5) Rashard Mendenhall (Rd 8, 8) Don't really like this pick, but realized that Gore/Jones/Brown all have week 6 byes) Earnest Graham (Rd 13, 5) WR: Randy Moss (Keeper) Greg Jennings (Rd 2, 8) Bernard Berrian (Rd 4, 8) Chris Chambers (Rd 12, 8) TE: Zach Miller (Rd 11, 5) DEF: Chargers (Rd 9, 5) K: Nate Kaeding (Rd 14, 8)
kicker77
Rice was a huge reach, IMO, especially in non-PPR, where you likely could have picked up a strong WR (given your note that RBs went early), which leaves you with a pretty weak flex spot. Berrian or Felix could work out though, and other than that the team looks pretty solid... that is, of couse, without seeing all the other teams. I had considered taking a WR instead of Rice (next ones off the board were V. Jackson, Ochocinco, B. Marshall), but then I would have been in an even bigger hole for RB2. Other options available at that spot were Larry Johnson, Addai, Lynch (who I wanted to grab at the next pick, but was taken right before me). maskedmike
You need a lot of good things to happen for you at the RB position for you to be able to compete.
Blumpkinator
Not feeling the RB's that much.
