drewjh
I have been looking to upgrade my WR and TE spots ever since my draft and have stumbled across an interested owner. Trade Modified: I would be giving up Portis and Braylon Edwards I would receive AJ and Shiancoe I would be giving up Ryan Grant and Braylon Edwards I would be recieving Roddy White and Visanthe Shiancoe You can find my current team in my sig. With my current RB depth i feel comfortable giving up grant to improve my WR core. However, my question is do you feel I am giving up to much? WashingtonD
Drop in a quick summary of your scoring system and maybe the other teams full roster and I'll bounce back with some feedback WD
drewjh
Standard ESPN scoring system, NON-PPR Opposing Team Tony Romo Chris Johnson Joseph Addai Santonio Holmes Andre Johnson Roddy White Chris Cooley Giants D/ST Kris Brown Darren Sproles Eli Manning Donald Brown Josh Morgan Visanthe Shiancoe Michael Crabtree Ahmad Bradshaw NOTE: He also seemed interested in... Clinton Portis and Braylon Edwards for A. Johnson and Shiancoe Edited September 2, 2009 by drewjh
drewjh
The trade offered is now: Clinton Portis and Braylon Edwards for AJ and Shiancoe Any thoughts? Anyone?
WashingtonD
Not bad, AJ is a stud, but this isn't PPR so his value relative to a RB drops slightly...Shiancoe is a huge upgrade over Scaife who's useless and you can spare Edwards. I'd probably do it given our overall team strength, but I always think you should be greedy so I'd ask for a swap of D/ST as well, toss in the Jets and ask for the Giants. If he bites on that you are golden, if he rejects that potentially counter offer Portis/Edwards for Johnson/Cooley... (I think Cooley's worth more than Shiancoe even with Favre coming to Viking land) (Edit - if all that fails I still think as is its a good deal) Best of luck, WashD Edited September 2, 2009 by WashingtonD

I discussed Cooley with him but he is pretty stuck on keeping him, Shiancoe is pretty much my only option there. I will definitely take a look at throwing a D/ST in there though.
