he's more explosive when he doesn't carry the ball as much.....

Actually, the opposite is true.

In the second half of last season, DWill ran for over 100 yards in 4 of the 5 games that Stewart had 9 carries or less.

DWill also scored 11 TD's in those same 5 games.

So, I took him at 1.04 in a 1 pt per reception league

Where does that leave me?

A reach, but I've come full circle where I think DW3 is going to fine this year, even in PPR leagues.

I think the trendy downfall projection of DW3 is more trendy feeling than statistically based. Sure, he won't score you 20 TDs this year, but the performance last year was historically high no matter how you slice it.

With a guy who had over 1600 yards, 20 TD's, and no competition for carries this year.

Wrong.

Fox has historically given the 2nd RB a good amount of carries. My guess on who would get Stewart's carries if he can't play would be Mike Goodson. He has looked good in the preseason. Not to mention they have two more RBs on their roster after those 3, so there's PLENTY of competition.

Thanks Waterman!!!!

The fact that YOU think I'm wrong lets me know that I am right.

DWill will have backups to give him "breathers". He will not have competition.

the fact is that he will be sharing with 2 other RB's...

how does a guy who had 20 TD's last year have competition?

however, carolina will be a RBBC, which is GOOD for DeAngelo....
