Sammy D.
Against the Lions? Minnesota could end up running the ball all day. I could start Celek, Witten, or Coles in his place, but I think the only option I would go with from that group would be Celek.......? Could use some solid advice on this one, since I'm in a dogfight to make the playoffs, and Cutler already imploded for me this week. Thanks. I think this site has Celek as possibly being the leading receiver for Philly this week. I think also read that SD is generous to tight ends. I like Celek over Rice, but on some sites Rice is favored high this week.
grobert81
I like Rice this week. Favre is definately trying to make him a stud as quickly as possible for a playoff run so I expect he'll get lots of looks this week. Yah the vikings are going to run the ball. But they dont run it all the time and they are going to want to keep AP rested so leaning on the throwing game will be a smart play. I'd expect 1 TD out of Rice and over 60 yards. griff321
I really don't think you can expect anything from any of the Vikings WRs, maybe if BB sits, which I doubt. The way I see it, Shank and one of the WRs is going to have a good day. The Vikings will get out to a healthy lead and then sit most of the starters. So which WR will have a good day? After the bye week you could make a case for all three, and to be honest it's going to be a lot of luck involved. To me the only way more then one WR has a good day is if the Lions keep the game close.
