Seahawks21
Five ties in my local this year! Two teams have two each!! Not sure this is worthy of its own thread, but I had to tell somebody! It isn't like it is a TD only league. Three of the ties have been at totals of over 100. Just bizarre! Should make things interesting in the divisional playoff races. Ursa Majoris
Repeat after me ... DECIMAL SCORING. There's been one tie in one of my leagues too and all my leagues use decimal.
LosGatosEnFuegos
My local started out using a bench player as a tie-breaker. Even with the tie-breaker, we had a tie once in 9 years. We moved to decimal scoring at my behest a couple years ago and haven't had one since. We do still use a tie-breaker player though.
cdrudge
Repeat after me ... DECIMAL SCORING.Decimal scoring wouldn't be of any advantage in a TD-only league. You only are dealing with whole numbers to begin with and no chance of fractional points.

dbforbes
There's been one tie in one of my leagues too and all my leagues use decimal. I came pretty damned close myself this week. I lost 72.35 to 72.85. If the colts would have intercepted Brady in the last 2 minutes, which they almost did, I would've won and been at the top of my league. Oh, how the fantasy football Gods laugh at me! Edited November 16, 2009 by dbforbes

DECIMAL SCORING. I completely disagree with decimal scoring. A tie is a tie unless it is the playoffs. Then you need tie breakers.
Company of Heroes
In the family league I run, we have 0.5 PPR (everything else pretty much standard) and decide ties by Home vs. Away (Home team wins, mainly because everyone hates a tie). One week, I beat my brother-in-law by 0.5 pts. A stat correction later in the week knocked me down a half point leaving us with the same score, but still giving me the win since I was the home team. The next week, he lost by a half point. Two weeks, two losses. Combined margin of defeat, 0.5 pts. OUCH! But, back to the OP, I prefer this method since ties are so unsatisfying. Since everyone gets the same number of home and away games over the season, it is fair.
chester
In the 4983 league we had a tie with 2 decimal places. One extra yard for one guy would have made the difference.
Phazool
How could anyone not use decimal scoring.....why leave all those yards off your point total? I don't get it.
