Happy Hour
I'm stacked at WR but need an RB. The trade deadline is this weekend. I'm currently 6-4 which is good enough for third place, but there are five teams at 5-5 or 4-6 who would beat me on points if our win records were even. My WRs: Calvin Johnson, Steve Smith (NYG), Derrick Mason, Wes Welker, T.J. Houshmandezadeh My RBs: Adrian Peterson, Snelling (Atl), Ryan Moats, Donald Brown We start 2 RB, 2WR, 1 RB/WR. I want an every week starter at RB, and can afford to lose a WR. His team is one of the 5-5. His WR: Harvin, Edwards, Andre Johnson, Maclin, His RB: Deangelo Williams, Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, Lesean McCoy, Moreno. Westbrook's injury puts him out for probably the rest of the season, making McCoy the guy to own. On the other hand, I've gotten this far without a 2nd RB, should I try to push my luck? I'll respond to yours if you give me a link.
Autodrummer
Well, I'm sure he's not going to part with DeAngelo for any of your guys. Perhaps offer him Housh for McCoy. I would get rid of Housh as he will continue to be inconsistent at best.
jirkoo
I think your team is good enough to stand as it is.... especially with Turner's injury. But, if you really want to make a trade, then McCoy is the guy to get. D. Williams is I am assuming untouchable. So, Mason or Houshmandezadeh for McCoy if the other team is interested would be a good trade for you.
cadycadets
Don't get rid of welker. After the the 3 stud runnuing backs in the league this year it starts to even out for the next 10. Get rid of hooush
AGS
Welker is the better player. Hold on to him ...explore other options for Mccoy. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=308269
Happy Hour
Clarifying - the guy is only interested in Welker. Trading Housh or Mason for Williams would be nice, but he's not an idiot.
dirtysanchez1184
What about trading Housh or Mason for McCoy? Welker's better than Housh or Mason. In fact, I think Welker's your 2nd best wr. No way I'd trade him for McCoy. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=308280
Capt. Stanky
I know you're in a position to over trade, but I wouldn't trade Welker for McCoy. Welker is the #2 WR in a PPR league in respect to PPG. Also, you have to consider how much you will be helping the other team and I think you are helping him far more than you would be helping yourself. Happy Hour
It isn't a PPR league. 20 yards = 1 pt, TD = 6 pts.
CSA81
Yea keep Welker and maybe go with one of the other trade the were suggesting... http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?show...p;#entry3020733
Menstrualgravy
I would hold out on thast trade. With Turners injury you have a #2 for a couple weeks. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?show...=308303&hl= Edited November 17, 2009 by Menstrualgravy
