TimC
kill and butcher what you eat and yo know what is in it. We spent this past Saturday night on the farm sneaking out at 2 AM behind cows placing a plastic bag over their head and strangling the life out of them. It was so humane and gentle. As they passed out, the wife gently placed pillows under their heads to make them as comfortable as possible. I whispered quietly in their little cow ears as they passed on singing Old MacDonald Has A Farm. Then I brought out the chainsaw and it got kinda ugly. The Holy Roller
Pasture finished beef is where it's at. Read Salad Bar Beef by Joel Salatin. ALL meat you get from the grocery store is from basically raised in a fecal factory, breathing air full of minute bits of fecal dust. Get your beef from a local farmer and have it butchered at a local butcher. Or have Tim come do it.
